Both the School of Visual Arts at the University of Windsor and the School of Architecture at the University of Detroit have an impressive number of accomplished professional artists and architects, as well as scholars and researchers in the areas of art history, visual culture, architecture, technology, and environmental design.  The breadth of knowledge represented by these two schools offer VABE students a rich and diverse learning experience.

Charrettes
Periodically juried reviews will be used to assure student competency in oral and graphic presentations, as well as analytical, critical and conceptual thinking.  Juries will be comprised of invited guests from the academic community and/or practicing professional architects.  Jurors will be asked to comment on student assignments and evaluate the progress of their work.
